On Saturday I took a studio lighting class from Melissa of Melissa Gephardt Photography. It was amazing! I learned so much and am looking forward to applying what I learned! Can’t wait!
Since my husband had the kids for the day, I decided to drive the long way home. I’m one of those that loves to take the scenic route. In this case it was a detour southwest from Mountain Home to Grandview and through Owyhee County on SH-78. The last few years I’ve come to appreciate the Owyhee Front like never before. When we first moved here, I’d complain that it’s “just rocks and sagebrush.” Over time, the wide open landscape has grown on me, with its own unique beauty, subtle changes in texture and color over the landscape, and solitude.
