We have a new addition to our family! Meet Timber, our new lab puppy.
My husband just adores my friend’s lab mix, Alpine, and has always said that if she ever had puppies, he wanted one. We got the call this spring that Alpine was expecting and started getting excited about having a new puppy.
When Alpine had her puppies, we all went over to play with them several times. There were three blacks, two chocolates, two light yellows and two reddish yellows and every single one of them was so adorable that it seemed like it would be impossible to choose one. My oldest son wanted a chocolate, my middle son wanted a girl so that my daughter would like it better, my husband wanted whichever one would be the best hunting dog, and I just wanted the cutest. I loved Timber from the start, but my husband ended up making the final decision. We all loved Timber’s personality so much!
We brought Timber home when he was 8 weeks old. He whined the first two nights, but soon settled in to his new home. Our older lab, Skeet, seems happy to have a new buddy. They get along great and cuddle up together in the doghouse to sleep at night. Timber loves to be around people and follows the kids around everywhere. We love having him here!
After Timber had been with us for a week, he got his first studio session. I just couldn’t resist!
